PENSACOLA, FL – ITGulfCoast, an Information Technology Association for the Gulf Coast, will hold their regular monthly meeting on Wednesday, January 28, 2009 at PJC Downtown. John R. Bartoszewicz, Business Communications & Data (BCD), will discuss Sessions Initiated Protocol (SIP).
SIP (Sessions Initiated Protocol) is the open standard used for voice, data and video that has simplified the complex coding once required to make the integration of these technologies possible. John's presentation will focus on the critical factors in a successful SIP implementation and deployment - bandwidth, security and standardization.
John R. Bartoszewicz is Managing Partner of Business Communications & Data (BCD) based in Pensacola. They have been installing VOIP systems since 2001 and have been steadily following the SIP progression. Their website is www.BCDGulfcoast.com.
This meeting will be held at PJC Downtown . The meeting starts at 11:30 am and ends at 1:00 pm. The cost for lunch is $12 per person. Cold box lunches will be provided. The fee to attend without lunch is $5 per person.
